This morning there was a hash tag #generalstrike #generalstrike2020 it was trending on twitter.
Upon investigation of the hash tag I found a website with a youtube video. Having recognized a familiar face i had to then comb through my history to narrow down the inventor of the movement.
This person is "emerican johnson" http://YouTube.com/noncompete/ http://genstrike.org For the moment I'm trying to see if there is more of a connection going one between all the anarchist websites and youtubers or if it's simply a series of people having the same interests. My hunch says that it's a movement where they have mutual interests and through the internet happened to "meet" each other on other platforms, and now are organizing on a larger scale. Right now according to the evidence the are working on a united left. Meaning that all groups left of center are trying to team up. The idiologies involved are of course communism, socialism, progressives, wokes and all the anarco-isms (except 1). They consider anarcho-capitalism to be right wing.
As time moves forward some things are becoming clear to me. Video/live streaming platforms are spreading ideas, people then find each other on those social media platforms under the same interests, and then get stuck in an information bubble where they block all outsiders. The result of this is causing self radicalization.
So with every movement they will create a website for that movement and a twitter account. @genstrike_2020 You are NOT alone. Do NOT act alone.
genstrike.org In this case that account was following emerican johnson
#GeneralStrikeSeptember1
The are very organized..from earlier today.
Unfortunately many of them are privatizing their conversations and communications using apps like signal. This makes the connections more difficult to track.
I would start by gathering as many names as possible. Also the comment sections of videos is a great place to start connections
If it helps almost every website I've seen is wordpress and it is free to use and you can host it on your own IT equipment.
