A few weeks ago, I tried to make a Twitter account to interact with people who seemed to prefer that platform although it wouldn't have been my first choice. I made my profile, followed exactly one person, got up to use the bathroom, came back and my account was locked. A few back and forths with Twitter help yielded nothing. This is a long way of saying that I've been following you and a few other people on Twitter for a while but not engaging at all.
I'm very concerned about the control of conversations by the dominant tech companies. I'm old enough to recall when most people had individual home pages. For a few years I had a Wordpress Blog. I was discouraged to see that Wordpress had started refusing to host blogs that discussed at least one forbidden topic. Probably there are other off-limit topics. Similarly, we've seen subreddits taken down. In response to all this I've started building my own website. I'm glad to see that you have yours.
Politically, I am homeless these days. For lack of a better way of expressing it, I am a left leaning classical liberal. I have always valued freedom of expression, freedom of movement, freedom of association and our republic her in the United States. I've never considered myself a conservative, but in the past few years I've been finding that on some important issues I have more in common with them than with the left.
